Here in New Jersey the summer starts on Memorial Day Weekend. It always the biggest weekend of the summer because it's the first weekend of the summer. It's a magical time when everyone is filled with excitement of what's to come and everyone is ready to enjoy the warm weather. Lucky for me I was born in the end of May so I get to celebrate my birthday during one of the best party weekends of the year.
During the summer everyone wants to be at the beach so the Jersey Shore is the place to be. The Jersey Shore might be most know for the TV show of the same name but don't let that fool you. Summer is hands down the best time of year in New Jersey and that's mainly because of the Jersey Shore. There's so many beaches and beach towns to choose from that there's something for everyone. While some might prefer the more family oriented or quieter beach towns, I like to reside at the party beaches where there's tons of bars, clubs and shore houses filled with people that are partying all the time. Of all the places to go out at the shore my favorite spot has always been The Headliner Nightclub in Neptune, NJ. So as a DJ it's been the number 1 place I've wanted to DJ at the shore, and I've been fortunate to have numerous opportunities to do that. In my opinion it's the best venue at the Jersey Shore not counting Atlantic City, and I'm grateful to be able to call Headliner home during the summer.
Last year I got to throw my official birthday bash on the outside Oasis Stage at Headliner. This was the first time I was able to curated my own event and lineup at Headliner and I was doing it during the busiest weekend. It was a major moment for myself and my career and everything went really well. So this year I got the opportunity to come back and throw my birthday bash once again during Memorial Day Weekend. Obviously I was very excited to be back and also further cement my birthday bash as an annual event. Last year was awesome but everything happened so fast that I didn't really get to enjoy the moment.
Since this was the second time around it was a little easier for me and I was able to enjoy the night more. We had another great turnout and I absolutely crushed my set. I had so much fun partying with all my friends and family, and I couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate my birthday. 2 years in a row we crushed it at Headliner. I had a stacked lineup of DJ friends that joined me on set and my boy Tobias Eats hosted the event. This is just the start of what's about to be an incredible summer.
